I called down to the front desk, and they informed me that they only make up rooms if the customer tells them to do so ahead of time. A few things I did not like about this hotel are as follows: The included breakfast was by far the most miserly I have received while in the Philippines. Staff The Villa Maria Louisa makes a nice first impression. The hotel advertises internet in the lobby area on their website and on agoda. A little more effort would make their hotel a lot nicer however. It has a very nice big lobby with a view outward to the ocean. After I arrived back in the room after a long hot day out sightseeing. It consisted of one egg, one small piece of luncheon meat, and rice, along with a choice of either powdered juice or powdered 3-in-1 coffee. The front desk staff, as well as the rest of the rest of the staff, are very friendly. there is NO INTERNET at this hotel. Perhaps they think they do not have to be at their best to attract customers. The Maria Louisa is the only nicer hotel for miles in any direction. My room was not made up It was already 6pm.

It was laughable. I thought maybe it would be up in a few minutes, so I asked the front desk when it would be back online. My hotel room was plagued by mosquitos, making it difficult to sleep due to numerous bites. I was informed it had been out for a "few months" and they had no idea when it would available again. In almost 6 straight months of staying in hotels in the philippines, that was a first for me. When i walked in, there was a sign saying "internet temporarily unavailable".
